Speed up your Acrobat Reader!!!

SPEED UP UR ACROBAT READER

1. Go to the installation folder of acrobat reader
(C:\program files\adobe\acrobat\reader\.. whatever)

2. Copy all the files and folders from the "plugins" directory to the "Optional" directory. (I repeat.. copy and paste the files NOT cut & paste).

Also make sure that acrobat reader is not open else it will lock the files and not allow you to move the files).

Now your acrobat reader will load faster.

Further boost your Acrobat Reader

If you want to further increase its speed to open it EXACTLY as fast as Notepad You can CUT and paste those files but this will disable all your plugins and utilities inside Acrobat Reader and you will ONLY be able to view the document but not to perform many options on them. So mind this before proceeding!!
If you COPY and paste this will speed up you Acrobat Reader but only to a certain extent. It will NOT be as fast as Notepad but faster than before.

Speed up Mozilla Firefox about 2-30x Faster!!!

Speed up Mozilla Firefox about 2-30x Faster!!!

If you are using firefox like me then you should try this.

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll
down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time.
When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really
speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This
means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

4.After altering the entries given above close the firefox window and restart.

If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages 2-30 times faster now.

Make your computer run faster for better performance. Must see this.....

How to make your Windows XP faster. A short tutorial to be implemented for fastest performance.

Type these commands in Start => Run and press ok. Do this one by one and in the order as given. Do not do anything else then specified. The user himself will be responsible for anything else he tries. If you have problems in anything that is explained, do not execute them. Ask me, I will help you.

1. prefetch
You will see a list of items. Select them all (ctrl+A) and delete them permanently(shift+delete). I promise it wont do any harm.

2. %temp%
It contains all the temporary files. Select them all and delete them permanently.

3. regedit
Go to Hkey_current_user => Control Panel => Desktop
On clicking on desktop a lot of icons would appear on Right pane window. Change the values of these list items to as given below. Do not further lower it further as it might cause instability.
HungAppTimeout 700
MenuShowDelay 10
WaitToKillAppTimeout 3000

4. msconfig
Click on Startup and a window will open. Click on Disable All. Click on Apply and close. Restart on being prompted. This is to make your computer boot faster. On restarting it will open a Startup utility configuration dialog. Click on Do not show again and press OK.

5. gpedit.msc
Click on User configuration => Administrative templates => Desktop => Browser Settings.
From here select the list item for internet buffer and disable 20% buffer reserved for internet. As this option is currently not available in my pc so i recommend that on reaching browser settings you should ask me first via comments how to proceed. Quote the options you are getting and i will guide you. On being prompted for restart, click no.

6. gpupdate
Just run this command and your GP settings will be updated. Now click Start => turn off =>Restart.

7. disk defragment
Go to Start => Program files => Accessories => System Tools => Disk Defragmenter.
Analyse your drives one by one and if it requires defragmentation, do it. This feature takes a lot of time so be patient.

After this Your computer will be synchronised for the fastest performance you can get. To continue getting this performance, perform 1,2 and 7 commands once in a month positively. Rest of the commands are permanent and they exist until you format your computer so they are one time format commands.
